Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about KIMERU.

About the Service

What is KIMERU?
KIMERU is a meeting facilitation tool designed to help teams make decisions efficiently. It structures meetings into three phases — Diverge, Converge, and Decide — with auto-advancing timers and automatic decision recording (with owners and deadlines). It prevents meetings from dragging on and ensures conclusions are reached within the allotted time.
What teams and situations is it for?
Any meeting where a decision needs to be made: project check-ins, brainstorming sessions, budget allocation reviews, and more. It works for teams of all sizes — from startups to enterprises — and supports both remote and in-person meetings with real-time screen sharing.
How is KIMERU different from Zoom or Google Meet?
Zoom and Google Meet are video calling tools. KIMERU manages the content of your meeting — agenda setting, time management, and decision recording. Use KIMERU alongside your video tool for dramatically better meeting outcomes.

Pricing & Plans

Is KIMERU free?
Yes — the Free plan includes all core meeting features with 7-day data retention. For unlimited data retention, templates, and export, the Pro plan is available at ¥980/month.
What does the Pro plan include?
Pro adds unlimited data retention, full meeting history, templates, and decision export. It costs ¥980/month (tax included), payable via credit card (Stripe) on the web or via in-app purchase on iOS.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. After cancellation, you keep Pro features until the end of your current billing period. Cancel from the dashboard on web, or via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS.

How to Use

How do I start a meeting?
After signing up, click 'Create New Meeting' on the dashboard. Set your agenda and time limits, then share the meeting link with participants. No app install needed — participants join via browser.
What are the 3 phases?
① Diverge: Freely share ideas and opinions. ② Converge: Organize and narrow down options. ③ Decide: Make the final call and record who does what by when. Each phase has a timer that auto-advances the meeting.
Do participants need an account?
No — participants can join any meeting via the shared link without an account. An account (free) is only needed to create meetings and manage past data.

Security & Data

Is my meeting data secure?
All data is transmitted over SSL/TLS encryption and stored in a secure cloud environment. Third-party access is prevented.
How long is data retained?
Free plan: 7 days from meeting creation. Pro plan: unlimited, until you delete it. If you downgrade, data older than 7 days becomes inaccessible but is retained for a grace period.

Supported Platforms

What devices are supported?
KIMERU works on web browsers (PC, smartphone, tablet) and has a native iOS app. Supported browsers include Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
Is there an iOS app?
Yes — download it from the App Store. The iOS app offers push notifications and a native experience. Pro plan can also be purchased via in-app purchase.
